Gamer's Hideout
Tank War Tournament & resulted in demos for other gamers who showed up to play various other games.
11am-5pm we had 8 reserved, the morning of the guy driving 3 others failed to wake up in time, so started with 4, one of who left early for work.
We played three fast paced rounds, 1500pts. Had two players with less than 10 games under their belt. We where able to give them some Quality mentorship time. Attendees loved the medals I purchased, and were excited when top Allied and Top Axis won tanks. After the tournament We played two more games just for fun and learning for the out of town attendees so they got the most out of there trip.
In store games at same time MTG (8 Players) Pre release saw another 20 arrive as I was packing up. 30K (3 Players, that I did a quick demo before I left, one has already set a date for another 1 on 1 demo.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Demo and Open Play Day

1/23/18 5pm-7pm

1 person attended and played, but we had maybe 5-6 people come and look at and observe the demo game that was played

We had one player actually come to play the game and enjoyed it. A couple customers at the store inquired about the game and seemed to show some interest but were unable to play due to other activities happening at the store. One gentleman came in earlier in the day inquiring about the demo day but was unable to make it that evening. The store thought our table setup was great and that, once we get a few days into, we may actually bring in some players as many have asked about the Bolt Action stock in store. Players who watched and the one player who played all were interested in the game and considered looking further into it.

There was an open game night going on at the store as well as a Dungeons and Dragons group in the private gaming room.

1. Eye Opener Book Store (204) 727-3868
2. 314 10th Street Brandon, Manitoba
4. Tank War League Intro Day
5. Jan 28th 1PM - 7 PM
6. We had 9 players
7. As an introduction to the joy of tank battles we are going to kick off our Tank War League with an Axis Vs Allies Grand Melee. Each play selects 160 points of light tanks and armoured vehicles for the first round(no infantry, transports, or tows for the first round) Teams will be split Axis vs Allies with the store providing models to balance points if needed. We have had a ton of positive feed back from all the players, everyone in attendance seems keen on coming out to round two. The store was also quite happy with the day, and most of the staff spent most of the time watching and learning the ins and outs of the game. One player had to leave early so we decided to do our prize draws midway through the game.
8. We were the only event happening at the store that day.
9. I have posted some pictures to the Sarge Facebook group but they are not in any album.

4) In store demos / open gaming night January 20 - 2pm till 6pm

5) Information posted on local facebook group, "Edmonton "Bolt Action" gaming" and mini event cards located at the store.

6) Biggest turnout for the store with 7 people attending. First date had to be cancelled due to store needing the space for post Christmas inventory check.

7) 7 players that came out all owned their own armies. Experience ranged from new player to experienced. Ensured everyone was accommodated and had a chance to play a game. Store owner offered Saturday evening to provide more table space rather than compete with other events on Sunday.

9) Not photos were taken unfortunately with large volume of turnout.
