Running 800pt Combat Patrol Tournament and Test of Honor Demos

800pt, 3 round norm, with me providing all the terrain and mats, as well as a full demo kit with terraim mats and forces for Test of Honor

6. We are moving on after a great intro round to our official Round 2 of Tank War escalation. This will be a 500 point round and now opens up medium tanks as well as infantry transports and tows. You are now also able to bring in Regular level choices but remember that units must start at inexperienced in order to gain exp. This round will no longer be team play and all games will be 1 on 1. As it is a low point game we will have 2 games per 6x4 table. As per discussion at the intro night you are not required to use the same units as the first round, but experience can only be carried through to the same faction (i.e. if you gained experience in a German Puma in the first round you may move the experienced crew to a German Panzer IV in the second, but you could not move them to a British Crusader). The store will again have some lists ready for players who are interested in trying out the game but do not have units of their own.

Normandy '44 Campaign- historical scenario themed battles while battling for control of a map of Normandy. Different scenarios for different battles based on historical operations with occasional plot elements or twists thrown in. Players are divided into either Axis or Allies and will receive prizes according to "Most games won" "Best painted army", "Best sportsmanship" and the like.
Games are open to players any time but they must report the results and play according to the campaign phases (ie no taking Berlin if you haven't even won the beaches at D-Day)
Most games fought at the 1000pt mark with list restrictions based on mission but point size varies.

The Bolt Action community here has been playing fun games for a while but the guys wanted a more cohesive game where each of their battles made an impact to the overall war so I used a bit of the campaign booklets and a few custom ideas to toss something together for them.
