SARGE PROGRAM HANDBOOK

1. WHAT IS THE 'SARGE PROGRAM' ?
The Sarge Program is the Warlord Games (WG) community that is dedicated to growing and supporting the Warlord Games hobby within Independent Retailers who have a trade account with the Warlord Games Phoenix Sales office. A Sarge is a member of that community and dedicates time and resource to grow the hobby within those Indepent retailers as a volunteer and not an employee of any independent retailer or Warlord Games.

2. WHAT EXACTLY DOES A SARGE DO?
A Sarge’s primary goals are to both recruit new hobbysits to the WG community and to ensure that the current WG commuity has access to fun activity within our Independent Retailers. By sharing their love of the WG games through running events the Sarge will accomplish these goals.  Events may include, but are not limited to, demostration games, escalation leagues, tournaments, painting and modeling demonstrations.

3. WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A SARGE?
In order to be a Sarge one needs to be sponsored by & working with an Independent Retailer that is currently an active Trade Account ordering with the Warlord Games office in Phoenix, AZ.
• We suggest all Sarges be able to demo Bolt Action, Gates of Antares, and soon, Konflict 47.
• We suggest all Sarges run at least one event a month (coordinated with your Independent Retailer).
• All Sarges must join the official Sarge forums then email your username & email to Emeliano (emiliano.morado@warlordgames.com) to be verified.

4. HOW WILL EVENTS BE ORGANIZED?
The number, nature, timing, and execution of these events should be developed and agreed to between the Independent Retailer and that Retailer’s Sarge.

5. HOW MANY EVENTS SHOULD I/DO I NEED TO RUN?
This is completely up to you and your Independent Retailer. A good rule of thumb is at least one organized event each month. Remember, the more you run, the larger your community will grow; The larger your community grows, the more successful your FLGS will be.

6. HOW WILL A SARGE'S EFFECTIVENESS BE MEASURED?
The Independent Retailer that a Sarge is working with will determine whether a Sarge is delivering in a satifactory manner.

7. CAN SOMEONE BE A SARGE FOR MORE THAN ONE STORE?
Absolutely. If all parties involved agree, we do too.

8. WHAT IF I AM NO AN INDEPENDENT RETAILER WITH AN ACCOUNT IN THE WARLORD US TRADE OFFICE?
The Sarge program itself is designed specifically to support our communities within the Independent Retailers who have a trade account with Warlord Games Phoenix Sales office.

Many people within our community enjoy running their events at conventions and or gaming clubs. Some simply do not have a retailer in their area. If this is the case, we do have a program in place where you can seek support. Please contact Shane.Atchison@Warlordgames.com, he will be happy to sort out the support you require.

9. HOW DO I OBTAIN MATERIAL SUPPORT FOR THE EVENTS I RUN?
The material support for the events can be acquired directly from Warlord Games by your Independent Retailer; please have them call their Account Manager to make the arrangements.
