4. D-Day Battle and Participation Event
5. June 5th, 3:30pm-9:30pm
6. 7 players (3 current players, 2 newer players, and 1 who had never played)
7. I had organized a table layout to represent, but not reenact, one of the beaches from the Normandy landings and the town and fields beyond. The Americans had a large number of extra troops to storm the beaches with, which the Germans had to try and hold for as long as possible. Behind lines, paratroopers of the 101st had dropped in and were tasked with destroying a Flak 88 gun that was capable of shelling the units on the beach. It was an overall German victory as the Allies failed to push beyond the wall at the beach and take the town. The 101st also failed to take out the 88, losing their lives in the struggle. Overall, everyone enjoyed the event and the game and looked forward to another one in the near future.
8. There were quite a few Magic players in the store who came by and took a peek. A resident board game guru was demonstrating a D-Day scenario for Memoir '44 for those who appreciated more of a board game approach.
9. Pictures are just posted to the FB Group's Timeline.

4. Demo Event
5. June 1st, 11:00am-9:00pm
6. 4 players (1 new player, 1 who had recently purchased models but hadn't played, and 2 current players)
7. I set up a scenario where US Airborne were in charge of securing a German-held town and knocking out the 88 that just ripped open a local platoon's Sherman support. A newer player to the game got his first real taste of the game with a demo and a full game and quite enjoyed it. The current players had some concerns with the scenario's balance, but overall the demo was well-received. Participants in this demo and the previously posted D-Day Event were entered to win a prize selected by the store.
8. This Demo was held during our city's First Friday Strawberry Festival event. As such, we had plenty of people in and out of the store, taking a look at all of the demos and games present. Later in the evening, our local Friday Night Magic started and even more people filled the store and took some glances my way.
9. Pictures were not posted.
